Just a short ferry ride across the estuary from Padstow, the seaside enclave of Rock is a charming, upmarket destination with a sailing club, golf club and several fantastic pubs and restaurants.

With stunning walks along to Daymer Bay, watersports adventures on the estuary and one of the best golf clubs in Cornwall, Rock is well worth a visit while staying in the Padstow area.

Stop for a bite to eat at Paul Ainsworth’s gastropub The Mariners, or tuck into a delicious meal with a view at the Upper Deck. Alternatively, walk up the hill and quench your thirst at local favourite The Pityme Inn or the trendy Bluntrock Brewery & Taproom.

Then, take the last boat to Padstow or wend your way along the country lanes to your holiday home away from home.
