"Awesome week in this lovely lodge. On site - check out Wheel food, Curry on Saturday, Roast dinner on Sunday. Craft Works Secret Garden is a must - book if you can, but we walked up at 5:30 and got a table (til 7:30, so plenty of time). Further afield - Lost Gardens of Heligan is a lovely day out. Rock & Harlyn Bay are great beaches. Polzeath is really busy, too busy this Summer."

"We had a fantastic weeks stay at Blown Away. Although we only had a couple of sunny days it didn't stop us from enjoying all that Padstow has to offer. Coming home to our lovely lodge really made our stay so much more enjoyable. We had lots of movie & games nights! If you want to eat at Craft Works, make sure you book - we didn't manage to get in during our stay."

"We have had a great week here! The place is lovely and was spotless when we arrived. The Craft Work food on site is amazing! We didnt book, just wondered over one evening. Sea Safari in Padstow is great if you want to get out on the sea! We did a 1 hour tour and saw dolphins and seals! Plenty of shops and lovely restaurants in the area. We were so lucky with the weather, sunny mostly and only rain over night!! Enjoy your stay :)"

"Had a lovely stay, thank you for sharing your home. Weather has been good. Walked into Padstow, visited Craft Works for a cocktail. Will definitely be back. Thank you."

"We were definitely 'Blown Away' - gorgeous lodge, spotless. Had a lovely day at the Vineyard (plenty of samples) rounded the day off with a lovely birthday meal at the Harbour Hotel (a Birthday treat from my daughter and granddaughter). I recommend the Headland Hotel in Newquay, after lunch we had a nice walk, lovely views over Fistral Beach. Lost Gardens of Heligan are a must. Also a nice relaxing lunches over in Rock at the Mariners by Paul Ainsworth. The only thing we didn't manage to do was to go to our favourite wine bar (Bin 2) that is top of our list for our next visit. We shall be back."

"Our plan was to visit a different beach each morning while there's plenty of parking. So we've enjoyed Trevone Bay and Porthcothan Bay and walked along the coastal path from Harlyn Bay to Newtrain Bay, from Constantine Bay to Treyarnon Bay, and from Carnewas Point to Bedruthan Steps. The culinary highlight was Stein's Seafood Restaurant. Today (our last full day) we drove to Bodmin Jail and to park on the Camel Trail and walked towards Wadebridge stopping at the Nanstallon Tea Room and the Camel Valley Winery."

"Fantastic week, our 2nd stay at Blown Away. We came in October and enjoyed Padstow so much we have returned. The No 10 bus takes you into Padstow from the end of the drive off the main road, arrives hourly. There is a walk along the field which brings you out at Tesco but currently very overgrown in sections. Food - the Mariners at Rock, excellent Sunday Lunch! Embers Pizza at Padstow, great food fantastic service. If you are into craft ales the Padstow Brewing Company have a great range and staff are very knowledgeable. Hire bikes and do the Camel Trail to Bodmin is a must. We also stopped at Camel Valley Winery, beautiful spot. Harlyn Bay is very close to visit. Coastal walk from Padstow to Trevone is breath-taking but difficult in sections (steep and rocky). Lovely gentlemen at the Trevone cafe showed us a much easier and direct route back to Padstow which only took 40 mins walking. We were very grateful!"
