From its hidden fireplaces brought back to their former glory, to its antique church pews perfect for elbow-to-elbow dining – you can literally feel Cornwall’s heritage in the 150-year-old cottage. Take a load off in the lounge, feel the cool touch of slate floors as you pad through to the refitted kitchen or get lost in a book under beams, some of which were salvaged from old fishing boats. Kept in the same family for over five generations, all of which have been involved with Padstow’s lifeboat, this cottage stays true to its past, while embracing the quality standards of modern living.

Care must be taken with young children as the stairs are very steep and narrow, also care must be taken in the master bedroom on the second floor as there is no door to the bedroom and there is a rope banister.
