Wander into the village and pick up some delicacies for breakfast, hit the open road and explore the seven bays, sizzle sausages on the patio as the scent of lavender drifts through the air. Or nip across the road to Rick Stein’s Cornish Arms for a true taste of the county. All that’s left is a nightcap by the fire and talk of tomorrow.Accessibility
ACCESS: Access to the property is gained from the parking area at the side of the property and along a path and up two steps to the front door.
GROUND FLOOR: Take one step over the door threshold. This leads to the lounge. Through a door to the dining room and kitchen, all the rooms on the lower floor are all on one level. The bathroom leads off the kitchen over the door threshold with bath, hand basin and WC.
FIRST FLOOR: Up 10 stairs from the dining room to first floor which leads to single bedroom area to left, the double room is straight ahead at the top of the stairs. The first floor is all on one level.
OUTSIDE ACCESS: Back to the ground floor from the dining room and one step over the door threshold to utility room which leads to the back door. Then one step over the door threshold to patio/garden area. A gate at the far end of the garden leads back to parking area down one small step. There is also a small shed for bike storage – measurements, height 5’2”, width 2’8”, length 6’4”, door width 4’3”
HEATING: The property is heated by night storage heaters. There is also electric fires in the living room and both bedrooms.

The password for the WIFI is in the owners information file which is kept on the window sill in the lounge and also on the directions that we will send you. Please note that Mayview shares access to the broadband signal and does not have direct access to the router.

You are able to hire cots and highchairs from a local company called Babes and Bikes who will deliver to and collect from the house.

You have to walk through the single bedroom to get to the double bedroom, please take care of young children in the single bedroom.
Although Mayview Cottage does have internet access this is from a shared router which is kept in the house next door, but please note that if there were any issues we would not be able to access to the next door house to try and resolve so service cannot be guaranteed.
Parking by the side of the house is quite steep and narrow and can be tricky to get into, if you would like to use an alternative place, please park in the Church car park.
