Booking

How do I book a property?

Our booking process is simple. You can either book online following the instructions as you go. Or you can contact us in the office.

Are dog fees shown in the property price?

If there are any fees for bringing your dog, they won’t show in the property price. The option to add your dog to your booking shows once you begin the booking process.

Do I need to pay a damage deposit?

No damage deposit will be required in normal circumstances, however you will be liable for any damage in the property and we would ask that you inform us as soon as reasonably possible of any damages however small. There may be certain occasions when due to unforeseen circumstances a damage deposits are required – if this is the case we will let you know.

Once I’ve booked online, will I hear from anyone for confirmation?

When we receive your deposit, we’ll send you a confirmation email. This will let you know the date when the balance payment is due (six weeks before your holiday begins). Make a note of it, but we’ll also send you a friendly reminder email.

There’s so much choice! Can I get help deciding where to stay?

Letting your property

I’m interested in letting my property through Harbour Holidays. Where do I start?

If you’d like to hear more about letting your property with us, get in touch with Nicky. She’ll talk you through the process and answer any questions.

Do you have any property requirements?

To keep up our high standards, we only accept properties that are assessed as three stars or more by Visit England. Nicky will do an initial inspection of your property to make sure it meets our criteria.

Do you provide any support for letting a property?

On top of suggesting the number of rental weeks you can expect and advising on prices, we’ll also share our thoughts on furnishings, fittings, and standards of presentation – all drawn from our many years of experience.

Parking

Where is there to park in Padstow?

There are four main carparks in Padstow itself. The main Harbour carpark, is run by the Harbour Commissioners’ Office. The carparks situated on South Quay, in front of the Lobster Hatchery, and on Senders Hill (The Lawn) are both council run – tickets in these carparks can be used interchangeably. And finally there’s the ring road carpark at the top of the town on Rope Walk, next to the fire station.

How much should I expect to pay for parking?

Car park prices range from £3.00 – £6.00 a day in the winter (01 Nov-28 Feb) and £6.00-£8.90 a day in the summer (01 Mar-31 Oct). Or from £38-£42 for a weekly ticket.

Other than ticket machines, is there anywhere else I can buy tickets?

Tickets can be bought from the ticket machines in all car parks with cash or by credit/debit card. But you can also get tickets for the Harbour carpark from the Harbour Office. Tickets can be bought on either a daily or weekly basis, but bear in mind buying a ticket doesn’t guarantee you a space.
