Memory: As a child growing up here I used to have my birthday parties at the beach. I’d walk down to one of Padstow’s little beaches with my family and friends, where we’d chase each other in the sea, enjoy a picnic beside the rocks and have a disco with the ghetto blaster!
Tip: One of my favorite walks is what we called as kids ‘around Trip Troll’. Walk up to Prideaux Place, pass the stunning stately home and head under the big bridge, then when you get up the hill you see for miles across the estuary. It still takes my breath away.

Memory: After a day on the beach playing games with my Grandad, we would always leave a little earlier to head back to the holiday home and stop via the local café to share a sneaky banana spilt together. It was our little secret!
Tip: Take a digital detox. Put the phones away and take in those holiday moments with family and friends which will be nestled in your memories forever.

Memory: I holidayed in Padstow every year with my family. We enjoyed it all, crabbing, playing in the sand, crazy golf, climbing rocks, shopping for souvenirs, wild speed boat rides, and the oh-so delicious ice cream. Padstow holds hundreds of precious memories, I’m thankful every day that my dad chose Padstow for our holidays. It’s my happy place.
Tip: Life is short. Love, laugh and make memories while on holiday in Padstow.

Memory: I remember visiting Padstow as a child: the boats gently rocking in the harbour, seagulls squawking overhead and the salty sea breeze in the air. I loved bodyboarding in the waves, riding them right into shore, then drying off with the biggest towel. Afterwards, we’d sit on the sand and have a picnic, enjoying sandwiches and crisps with the sound of the ocean in the background.
Tip: Take the scenic walk along the coastal path to Trevone. The route offers stunning views, golden beaches, and turquoise waters. It’s a peaceful, refreshing walk with plenty of spots to stop and take in the natural beauty of Cornwall.

Memory: I feel incredibly fortunate to have spent my entire life in Cornwall. One of the greatest joys of my childhood was growing up with the sea right on my doorstep. My fondest memory is spending summers at Treyarnon Bay with my grandpa, who patiently taught me how to surf. Funny thing is, I still haven’t quite cracked it yet!
Tip: Working in Padstow and being a coffee enthusiast means I’ve had the pleasure of trying almost every coffee spot in town. If you’re a fellow coffee lover, I highly recommend a visit to Sabzi—my go-to order is a vanilla oat latte, if you happen to pop by the office! And here’s the most important tip: hold on tight to your pasty. The seagulls around here love them!

Memory: I am so lucky to have grown up in Cornwall. During the summer holidays, on sunny days, my family would pile into the car—kids, buckets, spades, and a packed lunch in tow—and head straight to Mawgan Porth, where we’d spend the whole day splashing in the sea and playing on the sand. It is still one of my most favourite beaches.
Tip: Beat the crowds! Cornwall is so beautiful in the early mornings, and if you don’t mind an early start, it is well worth getting up and out early before there is even a footprint in the sand to enjoy the scenery before most people are out of bed.
