Traditional Cornish cottage, 1 Rock Cottages is a tastefully decorated, homely cottage just a short drive from Padstow. This property welcomes you in the moment you walk through the front gate, from the nicely manicured garden to enjoy in the warm summer months, to the roaring log burner in the cosy living room in the colder winter months. This cottage is the perfect base for all seasons.
Walk along the Saint’s Way into Padstow for a day of browsing the quaint shops and enjoying fish and chips by the Harbour. Settle in for the night in front of the log burner with a glass of wine or take a short stroll down the hill for dinner at the Old Mill Bistro.
ACCESS: From the church car park, you walk up the hill along the road (please note this is a busy road and does not have a pavement so care must be taken). As you go through the gate to 1 Rock Cottages you walk up the sloped garden path to the entrance porch.
INSIDE: From the entrance porch you go through into the living room and through the living room over a small ledge into the kitchen and utility room, all on one level. From the living room you go up 12 stairs to the first floor, where you find the 3 bedrooms and family bathroom, all on one level.
OUTSIDE: From the front garden gate you can go up pass the side of the house to the back courtyard garden area. From the utility room, 1 step over, you can also gain access to the side path and back garden.

There is a parking permit included with the property for the church car park a short walk away. Please note this is not a guaranteed parking space and the walk to the cottage is on an unpaved road. Care needs to be taken along this road.Linen & Towels

The property is stepped back from a ‘B’ road which does not have a pavement so extreme care must be taken when walking along the road.
The property next door (2 Rock Cottages) does have access through the gate to the back garden to get into their garden. This is rarely used as they have access through their kitchen but could potentially be used during your stay.
