Built by the Prideaux Brune Estate in the 1860s, this two-up, two-down traditional cottage is thought to have been the first building on the high street. A home. A school. ACCESS: Access is gained from the main street there is one step up and over the doorway into the hallway.
GROUND FLOOR: Inside the house there is the family bathroom on the left with bath, separate shower, washbasin and WC and a twin bedroom on the left. If you continue along the hallway, there are 2 steps up to the large open plan kitchen/dining area with one step up from the dining to the kitchen area and a utility room through which you access a wet room with shower.
FIRST FLOOR: From the kitchen area, there are 9 steps up to the mezzanine with a seat overlooking the kitchen and from here you can then access the lounge. From the ground floor there are 10 stairs up to the small landing with the double bedroom to the left with 1 additional step into it and the lounge to the right with an additional step into it.
Please take care on the stairs as they are quite steep.
OUTSIDE ACCESS: From the kitchen there is also access to the back patio with 9 slate steps leading up to a seating area with a bench. Please take care with children as there is a sloped roof to the side of the steps.
HEATING: The property has central heating throughout and there is a thermostat on the wall in the lounge with instructions on how to use it. The boiler is located in the cupboard at the top of the stairs (please do not adjust the temperature on the boiler, only use the thermostat provided).
BABIES EQUIPMENT: There is a highchair in the cupboard next to the kitchen and a travel cot in the utility room.

Care to be taken with young children as the steps are quite steep and there is access to the sloping roof of the utility room.
