Trevose Golf & Country Club

Ranked as one of the top links courses in the country, Trevose Golf & Country Club offers superb golfing amid spectacular coastal scenery close to Constantine Bay. Most holes have wild Atlantic views, often accompanied by strong winds, which makes this course quite challenging at times. The club features the 18-hole Championship and Headland courses, as well as a short course, driving range and pro performance centre. If you want to combine golfing, surfing and coastal walks, hole up in a luxury beachside holiday home in Constantine Bay.

St Enodoc Golf Club

One of Cornwall’s finest, and most scenic golf courses, the St Enodoc Golf Club links course boasts ever-changing panoramas overlooking the Camel Estuary and dramatic Cornish coast near Padstow. There are actually two golf courses to choose from – the Church Course and the Holywell Course – each with its own distinct character and challenges. The former takes in views of the 15th century St Enodoc Church; while the latter passes a historic Holy Well, close to the 12th hole. Located so close to the water’s edge,  you can float over on the ferry from a holiday cottage in Padstow, or base yourself in stylish seaside accommodation in Rock.

The Point Golf Club, St Minver, nr Polzeath

This 18-hole stunner rivals the most scenic golf courses in Padstow, with incredible views over Hayle Bay, Pentire Point and the Camel Estuary. Just a mile from an array of holiday cottages in Rock, and five miles from the buzzing market town of Wadebridge, The Point is a conveniently located course, wherever you’re staying between Padstow and Port Isaac. Posing a real challenge for golfers of all standards, it plays just short of 6300 yards off the back tees, and the greens and fairways are among the best in the county. There’s also an undercover driving range, and well-behaved dogs are welcome on the course and in the restaurant.

St Kew Golf Club

If you’re looking for a small and friendly golf club close to Padstow, tee off on this 9-hole, 18-tee course just north of Wadebridge. Treloy Golf Club, nr Newquay
