Padstow Car Parks
There are five main car parks in Padstow, offering various options for visitors depending on where you’re staying or exploring. Here’s a breakdown of each, including location, prices, and how to pay.
Harbour Car Park (South Quay Car Park)
Location: South Quay, Riverside, Padstow, PL28 8BY
The Harbour Car Park is conveniently located on South Quay. It’s the closest parking facility to the harbour and quayside, and directly opposite The Seafood Restaurant.
Parking charges:
Run by the Padstow Harbour Commissioner, you can buy hourly, daily or weekly tickets.
- 1hr: £1.50
- 12hrs: £8
- 7 days: £60

Railway Car Park (also known as Padstow Town Car Park)
Location: Station Car Park, Padstow, PL28 8DA
Located next to the National Lobster Hatchery and Rick Stein’s Fish & Chips, this car park is just steps from the harbour and the Camel Trail start point.
Parking charges:
Run by Padstow Town Council. Hourly and daily tickets available.
Charges are applicable 24 hours, from 1 April 2025 fees are as follows:
- 1hr: £1.80
- 12hrs: £9.60
- 24hrs: £12

The Lawns Car Park
Location: Sanders Hill, Padstow, PL28 8EB
Set on a hill overlooking the town, this is a good option during busy times. A short downhill walk (5–10 minutes) leads to the harbour and shops.
Parking charges:
Also managed by Padstow Town Council, offering hourly, daily and weekly rates.
Charges are applicable 24 hours, from 1 April 2025 fees are as follows:
- 1 hr: £1.80
- 12hrs: £9.60
- 24hrs: £12

Link Road Car Park
Location: Rope Walk, Padstow, PL28 8AY
Located near the fire station, this is a large, Cornwall Council-run long-stay car park. It’s ideal for longer visits, motorhome and coach parking, and offers some disabled parking spaces. About a 10-minute walk to the harbour.
Parking charges:
Managed by Cornwall Council.
From 1 April – 31 October fees are as follows:
- 1 hr: £2.30
- 24 hrs: £10.50
- 6pm-midnight: £2.10
- Midnight – 9am: No charge
- 7 days: £26.30
From 1 November – 31 March fees are as follows:
- 1 hr: £0.90
- 24 hrs: £3.70
- 4pm – 9am: No charge
- 7 days: £9.20

Padstow Main Road Car Park
Location: A389, Padstow, PL28 8EX (near Tesco)
Located just before you enter town, this car park is handy for avoiding the busy centre. Open between Easter and the end of October, it’s around a 10-minute walk into town. Alternatively, local bus number 11 or 56 can take you to and from town.
Parking charges:
Privately run. Open daily from 8am – 10pm between Easter and end of October (weather permitting).

- Up to 12 hrs: £6.20

Long-term parking in Padstow
Seasonal overnight, multi-day and weekly parking is available at Trevethan Farm PL28 8EL. Access is immediately after Tesco. This is ideal if you are walking the coast path or wish to leave your car in Padstow for a few days.

Campervan and Motorhome Parking in Padstow
Designated motorhome parking spaces are provided in the Railway Car Park, The Lawns Car Park and the Link Road Car Park. The fee for these spaces are the same as the standard car park fee. Please note motorhomes and campervans are prohibited overnight.
