Tucked into Cornwall's dramatic north coastline between Padstow and Newquay, 3 Trehelles in Mawgan Porth is where a symbiotic tangle of moody inks and blushing pinks collide to create a stylish, welcoming, dog-friendly coastal retreat in a breathtaking location.

A homestay of two halves, inside, plush sofas soften squid ink walls, terracotta tiles warm slate-grey floors, tactile pendants make art installations out of light fittings and spaces are bejewelled with trailing plants and vibrant prints. Here is a property that is all at once restorative and invigorating; ready to fall in with the tempo of however you wish to spend your holiday.

Three sumptuous, light-filled bedrooms promise deep slumber to six guests, where soft, slow mornings under heavy blankets are wholeheartedly encouraged, while candlelit suppers of creamy cacio e pepe and swirling glasses of rich Chianti are shared in the forest green dining room, long into the night.


Spend mornings drizzling honey over homemade blueberry pancakes before making your way down to the muscovado shoreline of Mawgan Porth to dive into tropical, blue-green waters and spot dolphins playing in the surf. Then, as the afternoon sun begins to wane, head back to your sun trap patio for pitchers of Sangria as tangerine and flamingo pink sundown sets fire to the sky and the dog snoozes happily at your feet.

Halfway along the stretch of the stunning north Cornwall coastline Mawgan Porth sits, secluded, sheltered and tucked perfectly inland. Located between popular Padstow and the classic seaside town of Newquay, this little surf and foodie scene is quieter than the bigger, busier seafronts and ideally positioned. With many beautiful beaches nearby such as Porthcothan, Treyarnon, Watergate, Harlyn, Constantine and family-favourite Porth, you’re spoiled for choice as far as seaside holiday adventures go here. However, you don’t need to leave this breathtaking spot as the beach road is peppered with boutique shops, restaurants, a welcoming pub and it’s all very dog and child friendly.


Newquay airport is approximately 10 minutes’ drive by car and the nearest train station is in the centre of Newquay town, around 20 minutes away by car or taxi.

Bedroom 1: A double bedroom (5ft zip & link bed). Bed can be made into singles, please request at time of booking.
Bedroom 2: A double bedroom (5tf bed).

First Floor

An open plan lounge/kitchen/diner.  Lounge with 65″ SMART TV, dining table and kitchen with gas hob and electric oven, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge and freezer.  A shower room with separate shower, WC and wash basin.

Second Floor

A second lounge and double bedroom.

There is a enclosed garden laid with AstroTurf and a first floor decking area.


There is one allocated undercover parking space (230cm wide).

Linen and Towels

This property provides linen and towels (mixture of feather and synthetic pillows ).
Linen is changed weekly.
Please bring your own beach towels.

Access is via a keysafe and details will be sent to you before your arrival.
