Situated on the quay on the main route to and from the car park, the smells emanating from this fish and chip shop make it hard to resist. As well as its famous battered cod, they have other varieties of fish served battered or grilled alongside hand-cut chips. You can dine inside if there is space, otherwise takeaway is available.

Chip Ahoy

If the queues are too long at Rick Stein’s, head to the local’s favourite fish and chip shop in the centre of town. This is a traditional fryer with some of the best fish and chips in the area. There are a few tables outside, otherwise, wander across to the harbour to eat your meal with a view.
