Nestled into the countryside in the idyllic hamlet of Penrose, Forge Cottage is just a short drive from the beaches of the north coast.
Its fresh, light-filled rooms make Cornish country living a stylish affair – think wooden worktops, pendant lamps and quality finishes throughout.
Wash off a day of activity in the downstairs shower room or your own ensuite, prep local produce in modern kitchen, then relax over a chilled glass of wine around the large kitchen table as the evening draws to a close. A real home-from-home. Only better.
Ground Floor
A lounge with TV, DVD player and wood-burner, a kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob and a fridge/freezer (¾ fridge, ¼ freezer) and a shower room with shower, washbasin and WC.
First Floor
A double bedroom with en-suite shower, washbasin and WC, a twin bedroom, a single bedroom with pull out truckle bed and a family bathroom with a bath, washbasin and WC.
Bedroom 1: A double bedroom (5ft bed) with en-suite shower, washbasin and WC
Bedroom 2: A twin bedroom (3ft beds)
Bedroom 3: A single bedroom (3ft bed) with pull out truckle bed – please request at time of booking if you would like to use this bed.
Outside
Patio area and lawned garden at the front.
Parking
There is parking at the property for 2 cars.
Linen & Towels
All linen and towels are provided (synthetic pillows and duvets in the bedrooms.)
Linen is changed weekly on fortnightly stays or longer.
Please bring your own beach towels.
Arrival & Departure
Access is via a keysafe and details will be sent to you before your arrival.
Arrival Time: From 17:00pm
Departure Time: By 10:00am

Heating
There is central heating throughout and underfloor heating on the ground floor. There is also a wood burner in the lounge.
WIFI
WIFI & Broadband is available.
Harbour Holidays cannot be held responsible for the WIFI connection as we are reliant on external parties for this.
Forge Cottage Annexe
There is an annexe at Forge Cottage which sleeps 2 which can be added to your booking at an additonal cost.
This is made up of the following:
Steps from the terrace lead down to a split level building with one step down from the top to bottom level
The top level is a kitchenette with an induction hob, Fridge/freezer, microwave oven & sink with bar stools to sit on and a separate room shower room with WC, and washbasin.
The lower level is a lounge area with a bed settee, wood burner and TV.
When making a booking, please select the annexe option and add this on when confirming.
Please note that if you do not book the annexe, this will not be let to anyone else, it will just be locked.

Bed sizes and facilities can change without notice, although we will endeavour to update.
Gas / electric are included in your holiday.

Accessibility
ACCESS: From the parking area at the front of the house there is 1 step up to path to house and 1 step into the porch.
GROUND FLOOR: Once inside there is a lounge with French doors leading down one step down onto the small patio area, there is also a kitchen/diner and small utility area with washing machine and a shower room with EC and washbasin. From the back door is off the utility area there is also with 1 step down and round to patio area .
FIRST FLOOR: 13 steps take you up to the first floor with the master double bedroom with en-suite shower room with WC & washbasin a twin bedroom, a single room with a truckle bed underneath and a family bathroom with bath, washbasin and WC.
OUTSIDE: There is a lawned area in front of house and a small patio area.
ANNEXE ACCESS: From the parking area there are three steps up and one step over the threshold.
From the living/bedroom area there is one step up to the kitchen and shower room.
From the back door there is one step over and three steps up to the main house and garden.
