Avoid the hustle and escape the bustle with a holiday at Writer’s Cottage, a cosy cottage once owned by famous novelist Patricia Tyrell, whose books you can find right here in the cottage. Tucked away along a residential mews, its open plan lounge and diner make great use of space, while the furnished courtyard is made for mid-morning coffees and lazy afternoons. Tread wooden floorboards and lean back in the living room, before whipping up a dinner for two in the newly fitted kitchen. And if you’ve got that novel still waiting to be written, the view from the bedroom window seat might be all the inspiration you need.

Ground floorSmall entrance hall with a door leading to the open plan lounge / kitchen / dining room. The lounge area has a flat screen TV with built in DVD player and an ornamental fireplace, the kitchen area has two electric rings and a microwave combination oven only for cooking and a fridge with a small ice box.
First floorFrom the entrance hall, there are stairs leading to the first floor with a double bedroom and bathroom.
Bedroom 1: A double bed (4ft 6”) with an en-suite shower, WC and washbasin.
Small courtyard garden with table and chairs, there is also a small outhouse which houses the washing machine
Linen and TowelsLinen and Towels are provided.
Linen changed weekly.
Please bring your own beach towels.
