Kick off your shoes after a day exploring and relax in the comfortable lounge, or make cooking a family affair in the galley style kitchen before enjoying your feast in the dining room. Just a few minutes walk downhill will take you quickly down into the harbour, take your fishing lines with you and have crab catching competitions off the slipway, or treat yourself to a night out and try some of the restaurants.
If you would prefer to spend your time on the beaches, just a 10/15 minute stroll will take you to the fantastic beach by Padstow, or a 5 minute drive will take you to Trevone and the first beach of the ‘Seven Bays’, while away the hours soaking up the sunshine or follow the coastal path on a brisk and breezy stroll.
Blue Waters at 6 Dennis Road is the perfect home for friends or for family fun. With plenty of room to either unwind together or let the kids watch a DVD in the lounge whilst you enjoy a glass of wine on the front terrace enjoying estuary views or simply relaxing in the private rear garden.Accessibility
ACCESS: From the sloped driveway there is a path then 7 steps to the front patio area, a further 1 step up and 1 step over the doorway then takes you into the front door into the hallway or 1 step up and then 1 step up and over the side door into the utility room.
GROUND FLOOR: The ground floor is all on one level with a lounge and separate dining room off the hallway and then walk through to the kitchen and second dining/snug area and the utility room is off the kitchen, there is also a cloakroom in the utility room with washbasin and WC.
FIRST FLOOR: 13 stairs will then take you to the first floor with access to the bunk bedroom and the family bathroom with a bath with a separate shower, washbasin and WC and an additional 2 steps to the 2 double bedrooms, both with en-suite shower, washbasin and WC.
OUTSIDE ACCESS: From the ‘snug’ there are patio doors into the rear garden with one step over the threshold and one step down and there is also a doorway from the utility room with again, one step up and over the doorway onto the back patio. Once outside there are 5 steps from the back lower patio to the lawned area and then an additional 4 steps to top gravelled patio area. Although the garden is enclosed there is a low wall on one side which dogs could get over.
The estuary views are from the house down the road to the Estuary.
Please note that in October 2018 there will be work taking place to update the parking/driveway area.
HEATING: The property has central heating throughout, there is a ‘hive’ thermostat in the hallway and heating can be controlled by turning the radiators up or down. There is also a gas fire in the living room
BABIES EQUIPMENT: No equipment is provided but can be hired.
NB: Bed sizes and facilities can change without notice, although we will endeavour to update.
Harbour Holidays cannot be held responsible for the WIFI connection as we are reliant on external parties for this. Please do not use the WIFI access to download movies/music etc, as some connections do have ‘download limits’ and if they are used up may not be replenished until the next month, the router is on the sideboard in the dining room
All instruction files for the house are kept in the kitchen drawer (the top one opposite the sink!)
